Does True North Terra perform cleanup or remediation?
No. TNT is a due diligence firm. We assess and report environmental risk quickly, and we refer remediation and Phase II work to trusted partners.
Why does True North Terra focus only on environmental due diligence?
Focus is what makes the speed and the consistency possible. Without field programs or remediation projects to schedule around, every assessment receives uninterrupted attention, and every report follows the same rigorous format. It also keeps the work independent: the firm has no stake in what happens after the report is delivered.
Does faster mean less thorough?
Nope! Each assessment meets the full requirements of the applicable standard: ASTM E1527-21 for Phase I ESAs, ASTM E1528-22 for Transaction Screens, and SBA SOP 50 10 8.1 for SBA Records Searches. Turnaround comes from starting immediately, keeping files moving, and communicating early, not from reducing scope.
What happens if the findings warrant further investigation?
The report states the findings and the Environmental Professional's opinion on whether additional investigation is warranted, in plain language. If further work is needed, True North Terra can refer you to qualified firms that perform it. Specific recommendations are not made; we leave that in the capable hands of experienced remediation-based firms!
My closing is sooner than the standard schedule. Can you help?
Often, yes. Rush and expedited schedules are available, subject to site access and records availability. Contact True North Terra with your closing date, and you will receive a proposal with a committed delivery date within one business day.
